This Friday, Omar Qureshi shares his impressions and verdicts on the most awaited Bollywood movies ‘New York’, ‘Morning Walk’ and ‘Runway’ along with Hollywood new releases ‘Terminator Salvation’, ‘The Hangover’ and ‘Bolt’.

New York is a contemporary story of friendship set against the larger than life backdrop of a city often described as the centre of the world. It is one such story of 3 young friends whose beautiful lives are turned upside down by larger events beyond their control. The film is directed by Kabir Khan and Produced by Aditya Chopra, the film stars John Abraham, Katrina Kaif, Neil Nitin Mukesh and Irrfan Khan.

Morning Walk is about an old couple, who meet after decades. The old man discovers that he had a daughter from the woman who he courted years back. The film is directed by Arup Dutta and star cast includes Anupam Kher, Sharmila Tagore, Rajat Kapoor, Divya Dutta and Shayan Munshi


Runway is an action movie which revolves around the character Allan who is a twenty two year old young man who becomes a contract killer to save his love Melvyna. The film is directed by Sunil Tiwari and star cast of the film includes Lucky Ali, Tulip Joshi, Amarjeet Shukla, Deepal Shaw, Shahwar Ali, Sharat Saxena, Dayanand Shetty and Rauf Lala

Terminator Salvation, set in the post-apocalyptic 2018, John Connor is the man fated to lead the human resistance against Skynet and its army of Terminators. But the future Connor was raised to believe in is altered in part by the appearance of Marcus Wright, a stranger whose last memory is of being on death row. Connor must decide whether Marcus has been sent from the future, or rescued from the past. The film directed by McG includes actor Christian Bale, Bryce Dallas Howard, Sam Worthington, Common, Anton Yelchin, Michael Ironside, and Moon Bloodgood.

The Hangover is an entertaining concoction spilling over with hilarity and mystery. An intoxicating comedy about four friends, who experience an unforgettable pre-wedding "boy's night out" with unexpected consequences they must remedy the morning after. Director Todd Philips and screenwriters, Jon Lucas & Scott Moore, elevate their comedic plot with a “missing person” detective storyline, while exploring the male bonding dynamic. The four main actors of the film are Justin Bartha, Bradley Cooper, Ed HelmsZach Galifianakis and Jeffrey Tambor.

Bolt voiced by John Travolta, is the canine star of a television show about a dog who has super-powers. But poor Bolt doesn't realize that his life is entirely fictitious, so when his human sidekick Penny voiced by Miley Cyrus is kidnapped while on the show, and Bolt is accidentally left free to wander off-set, our canine adventurer goes on a mission in the real world to save his friend. Pixar creative director John Lasseter's first feature for Disney Animation is a terrifically animated, funny and heartwarming treat for all the family.
